Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use, why, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 24 July 2026 · Version 2.0
This Cookie Policy explains how DORQ uses cookies and similar technologies on dorqweb.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. We use cookies in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
The short version
Our Site is built to be privacy-friendly. We use only a minimal set of strictly necessary technologies to make the Site work and keep it secure. We do not use advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not sell your data.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to store information. "Similar technologies" include local storage, pixels and software development kits that perform comparable functions. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (which remain until they expire or you delete them), and "first-party" (set by us) or "third-party" (set by another organisation whose services appear on our Site).
2. How we categorise cookies
Cookies and similar technologies generally fall into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function and to be secure. These do not require your consent and cannot be switched off through our Site.
- Performance / analytics: help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. These require your consent.
- Functional: remember choices you make to give you enhanced features. These require your consent.
- Advertising / targeting: used to build a profile of your interests and show relevant ads. We do not use these.
3. Cookies and technologies we use
The table below reflects what our Site currently uses. Because we do not currently use analytics, functional or advertising cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required to browse the Site.
| Provider | Purpose | Category | Sets cookies? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare (hosting & content delivery) | Delivers the Site securely and helps protect it from malicious traffic and bots. | Strictly necessary | May set a strictly-necessary security cookie (e.g. __cf_bm) for bot management. |
| Google Fonts | Delivers the typefaces used on the Site. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which may process your IP address to serve them. | Strictly necessary | No cookies set. |
| Web3Forms | Processes and delivers messages sent through our contact form. Only engaged when you submit the form. | Strictly necessary | No tracking cookies set. |
Our own website code does not set any cookies and does not use local storage to track you. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires, ask for your consent first (for example through a cookie banner).
4. Third-party services
The third parties listed above process limited technical data (such as your IP address) to provide their services and have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review. We choose reputable providers and do not permit them to use data collected via our Site to track you across other websites for advertising.
5. How to manage and control cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; the "Help" function in your browser explains how. Please note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies may affect how the Site works. General guidance for all major browsers is available at aboutcookies.org and allaboutcookies.org.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because our Site does not track you across sites in the first place, there is no behaviour for a DNT signal to change.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use or for legal reasons. The current version will always be published on this page with the "Last updated" date above.
